Insacal Flow Rig FR 75 enables high-performance in-line calibration across a flow range of 500...75,000 kg/h (or equivalent in l/h), designed for demanding production environments with high and consistent flow rates.
When to Choose FR 75
- High-volume production environments
- Processes operating primarily at high flow
- Applications requiring maximum capacity
Key Benefits
- Handles very high flow rates efficiently
- Stable and reliable calibration at scale
- Designed for demanding industrial conditions
Flow Range and Measurement Coverage
Each system is configured with one or more flow meters selected to match the required flow range.
A typical flow meter operates with a turndown ratio of approximately 1:20. To ensure accuracy across a wider range, multiple flow meters are combined. This allows reliable calibration from low to high flow within a single system.
Hygienic Design
Our Flow Rigs are used in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries and are designed according to hygienic design principles to prevent contamination and ensure reliable measurements. Hygienic design focuses on constructing equipment that can be easily cleaned, inspected, and maintained while minimizing the risk of microbial growth or product residue accumulation.
In our hygienic calibration Flow Rig, all components in contact with the fluid are made from materials suitable for hygienic applications, with smooth surface finishes that reduce the potential for fouling and bacterial attachment. Dead legs, crevices, and sharp corners are avoided because they can trap liquid and residues, which may compromise both hygiene and measurement accuracy.
The geometry of the piping and instrumentation supports complete drainage and prevents stagnant zones.
By incorporating hygienic design principles, our calibration flow rig not only ensures compliance with industry standards but also maintains measurement reliability and reduces downtime associated with cleaning and maintenance. This is especially important when calibrating flow meters used in sanitary processes, where both measurement accuracy and product safety are critical.
